As a registered charity, we have a governing document which sets out key information about how we will operate and how we will go about our work. This governing document has been agreed by our member churches.
As a registered charity, we are governed by a Board of Trustees. Our Trustees (apart from the Senior Staff) are unpaid and are elected by the Association AGM. The Trustees have the legal responsibility for the management of the charity, and are the key body for determining strategy, policy and direction. Day-to-day management of the charity is delegated by the Trustees to the Senior Staff.

SWBA is affiliated to the Baptist Union of Great Britain – one of thirteen regional associations around the country. A large part of our funding each year comes from Home Mission – the national Baptist family purse.
