Chris takes the lead in the following areas:

  • Oversight and coordination of general services, operations and team.
  • Oversight and management of the Association office and administrative functions, dealing with day to day questions and enquiries.
  • Governance and charity matters including policies and procedures, HR admin, servicing the Board of Trustees and ensuring compliance with charity law.
  • General advice to churches on operational matters such as constitutions and governing documents, trusts, buying and selling property etc.
  • Oversight of safeguarding provision - link with CCPAS and BUGB
  • Ministerial Recognition (BUGB accreditation) - initial enquiries, meeting with potential candidates, advising on process, coordinating processes on behalf of the four Associations in our Partnership.
  • Other ministerial recognition matters - NAM processes, lay pastors etc.
