PFS: Pastoral Care

The PFS Pastoral Care module is a chance to reflect on the theory and practice of pastoral care in churches and in our communities.

This course is a lively, collaborative look at what it means to care for God's people, whilst at the same time not neglecting ourselves. Whether you are currently serving in your church or considering doing so, this course will give you useful tools for the journey.

The tutor for this module will be Rev Julia Henley, minister of Budleigh Salterton Baptist Church. A formal descriptor for the module can be seen by clicking here.

This module will be taught over two teaching days - 22nd April & 20th May 2023.

You can join in by attending onsite, or online via Zoom (for the best teaching experience we recommend coming onsite if at all possible).

There are two ways of engaging with the PFS course:

  • As a Saturday Student (£30/module) - attend just the modules that interest you
  • As a PFS Student (£60/module) - attend all modules and complete the written assignments for each. This will result in a certificate from Bristol Baptist College on successful completion of all the requirements.

To register, please complete the form below. If you'd rather use a paper form, you can download one by clicking here.
