In 2015 the SWBA launched the Stronger Together Mission Fund. The purpose is two-fold:
- To promote mission – by making small grants to churches or groups of churches for specific mission and outreach projects.
- To promote and strengthen the sense of connectivity between our churches – by sharing the stories of the projects the grant monies have supported
Churches who have received a grant will be asked to make a short video about their project to share their story – these videos can be used in church services across the Association for inspiration, encouragement and prayer.
We hope that every church will then either allocate an amount in their budget to give to the fund, or take up a special offering on a Mission Sunday, or both! The money given will go into the mission fund to enable more grants to be given in the following year.
